Today we had a barbecue to celebrate Memorial Day. Jim did a great job barbecuing the hamburgers and hot dogs. We always ask him to do it because he is a master barbecuer! I ate the best hamburger I have had in ages. Leah and Mom made fabulous potato salad and Candice made some yummy 7 layer dip with tortilla chips. Michelle brought fresh strawberries and we all scarfed them down like crazy. Jacob asked Ballard to help him make a robot and so before we knew it he had all the kids in the garage with hammers, nails and wood creating all kinds of neat things. It looked like Santa's workshop with a bunch of little people just busy, busy, busy! Mike bought a new toy today, a four wheeler, and let everyone take turns riding it. He is always so generous with his toys! It is so much fun to get together with family. We just love our family. And we have the cutest grandkids you can imagine!
